WORKING TOGETHER
Clear scope.
Clear expectations.
This page explains how enquiries, previews and project proposals work. Your written proposal contains the terms for any paid work.
Enquiries and free previews
An enquiry does not place an order. A free website preview is an initial homepage design concept, with no purchase obligation. We reply within 1 working day and provide the preview within 3 working days of receiving the brief. Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays.
Pricing and scope
Published prices describe the stated starting scope. Before paid work begins, we agree deliverables, revisions, dependencies, schedule, payment stages, tax treatment and the total payable in writing. Extra content, integrations, hosting, domains and third-party fees are itemised where required.
Supplier data and access
We agree the sources, permitted use of content and images, required access and destination fields. Supplier information may be incomplete or change. Unknown or conflicting values are flagged for review. Do not send credentials or personal customer data through the public enquiry form.
Monitoring and automated updates
The Essential, Standard and Plus plans are monitoring and reporting services. Automated stock, cost and selling-price updates require a separately agreed setup and ongoing service. The proposal defines frequency, safeguards, support, cancellation and which changes may run automatically.
Ownership, handover and third-party tools
Your proposal identifies the files, access and usage rights included at handover. Existing third-party software, fonts, images and platform services retain their own licences and terms. We identify any paid dependencies before you commit.
Examples and questions
Fictional demonstrations are labelled. Real case studies state their scope and verification date; results for one project do not guarantee the same outcome for another. For a concern about this website or a project, email enquiries@sortshape.com. Nothing on this page excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
